Ostrava-Svinov OV – Railway station building

The passenger building underwent a complete reconstruction in the past years, the passenger terminals were extended with a daring glazed annex, designed by architect Filander. The original passenger building was put into operation along with the Lipník- Bohumín railway track of the Ferdinand Northern Railway in 1847, since then it has gone through several expansions: fi rst in the 1870‘s and then in 1895, when it was given its present image.
